You Tube Shmoo Tube.
What is it with You Tube fanatics??? A good friend of mine Rocking Jock, some of you may have seen him here in Gran Canaria has one of his songs "Evil Scotsman" currently being plastered all over You Tube. This in itself is fine (if they had his permission which they don't) it would be great publicity for him, at least it would be if he were getting credit. But no, the You Tubers hear a Scottish accent and just assume it is Billy Connoly.

Note to all who posted this song without permission LISTEN TO THE LYRICS "I'm a sheep shagger from Aberdeen"  BILLY CONNOLY IS FROM GLASGOW!!!! Work it out! Also notice that NO ONE has a video of Billy performing this? THAT'S BECAUSE HE DIDN'T!

Well let me officially put the record straight here. Evil Scotsman was written by George Allen (Rocking Jock) and myself Garry Desmond way back in 1996. We will in the following weeks be chasing down all the You Tube posters and asking them to give the credit to Rocking Jock for the work. Any that don't or refuse to remove the recording we will persuing for copyright breach via You Tube.

People should understand before they share songs like this that Myself,  Rocking Jock and millions of other NON famous comedians make our living from comedy, we are not multi million pound corporations and sharing our comedy material without express permission can affect our living. Many of us sell cds to suppliment our income this kind of sharing can seriously affect that.

You wouldn't be very happy if either of us came and pulled £50 out of your pay packet. What makes this worse is that these You Tubers have not only not asked permission but they do not even give us credit for the work. This we will fix. :+)
